Set a good base salary
When editing your pay scale, we suggest you check the base salaries of the business component.
Base salaries are the gross annual salary of an outgoing junior trainee.
Our algorithm automatically generates the basic salaries of the Business so as to ensure consistency between the levels and avoid post-grid salaries too far from your current reality.
It can happen, if you have several employees in the same occupational category with large pay gaps or if one of your employees is paid well below or above the market, that the calculated base salary is far from the market.
It is your responsibility to measure these gaps and validate them according to your human resources policy. For reasons of recruitment for example, some companies choose to "overpay" certain functions to attract candidates.
